This position is an integral part of the Admissions Office team. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Assistant Director of Admissions is instrumental in the implementation of programs, counseling and communication for the Admissions Office. This position counsels prospective students, participates in the application review process, and is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the special programs coordinated by the Admissions Office.

Reporting to the Assistant Dean of JD Admissions (“Assistant Dean”), the Director of JD Admissions (“Director”), plays a key role in advancing Penn Carey Law’s JD admissions strategy by supporting the design and execution of sophisticated, data-informed recruitment and yield initiatives. Drawing on the Law School’s distinctive strengths, the Director will help develop imaginative and effective approaches to attract, engage, and enroll exceptional JD classes of approximately 260 students each year.

The Associate Director of Graduate Admissions and Enrollment is responsible for leading and executing admissions and enrollment management for the College of Law’s LL.M., M.J., and other non-J.D. graduate programs. The position works collaboratively with the Director of International and Graduate Programs to support recruitment, enrollment, and related program initiatives for the LL.M. in International Law Program as needed. For all other LL.M., M.J., and other non-J.D.

The Assistant Director will perform a wide range of applicant recruitment and evaluation activities in furtherance of the College of Law’s enrollment goals, while contributing to the development and execution of data-informed recruitment and admissions strategies that align with the college’s priorities.
