The Assistant Dean provides strategic leadership and administrative oversight for our international summer programs, semester exchange programs, and our LLM and SJD programs. This role collaborates closely with faculty, staff, and external partners to enhance the quality, reach, and impact of graduate education and international programming at Tulane Law School.

The Assistant Director of Admissions supports Miami Law’s nationwide student recruitment efforts and enrollment goals through the development and implementation of integrated marketing and recruitment strategies. This position requires regional and national travel, proficiency in Customer Relationship Management software, excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to use sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy in a professional setting, and the ability to use data to support the planning of outreach activities and events.

Purpose

As a member of the Law School's executive leadership team, the Executive Director is responsible for leading a customer-focused organization that delivers efficient and effective technology systems and services to advance the teaching, research, and service missions of the school and to sustain and enhance the school’s eminence in its field. The executive leadership team members are expected on site at the Law School during the academic year.

Responsibilities

Assist with application file review and the selection of the JD and transfer classes. Direct development and implementation of all aspects of pre- and post-admission recruitment strategies including institutional data collection, assessment and dissemination. Evaluate effectiveness of all recruitment activities. Play a key role and participate in the development and execution of the Law School’s financial aid strategy. Serve as a spokesperson for the School at various recruitment events.
