How to Schedule Your LSAT Testing Time

Starting with the August 2026 LSAT, we will be moving toward in-center testing for almost all U.S. and international test takers, with limited exceptions for certain medical accommodations or extreme hardship in getting to a testing center. When you register for the LSAT, you鈥檙e asked to express your preferences regarding how and when you would like to test. However, it鈥檚 during the scheduling process that you will make a final decision and confirm your testing appointment.

To be able to take the LSAT, you MUST schedule a testing time through Prometric.

Before trying to schedule your testing time, please confirm the following:

  • You are registered for the LSAT administration you wish to schedule for. The registration deadline for each test occurs several weeks before scheduling opens. If you鈥檙e not sure which administration you registered for, check .
  • The scheduling window for your preferred testing day and modality is open.  to confirm.

Scheduling Options

From JD Services

  1. Visit the  of .
  2. Follow the links to schedule within your eligible testing modality and window.
  3. You will be redirected to Prometric鈥檚 ProScheduler tool.
  4. Agree to Prometric鈥檚 Personal Data Privacy Disclosure & Consent form.
  5. If you鈥檙e scheduling to take the LSAT in the online, remotely proctored environment, select your testing location time zone and preferred test date. If you鈥檙e scheduling to take the LSAT in person at a Prometric test center, enter your physical address and preferred test date.
  6. Select your desired appointment time, validate your demographics, and confirm your appointment.
  7. You will receive a confirmation email. Additionally, you can confirm the details of your testing appointment on the  of . (Please note: Your testing appointment may not appear in JD Services immediately.)

Directly Through the ProScheduler Tool

  1. Go to  and click the 鈥淪chedule鈥 tile.
  2. Select 鈥淟aw School Admission Council鈥 as the Test Sponsor.
  3. Select 鈥淟aw School Admission Test鈥 as the Program. (If you have an approved accommodation to take a paper-and-pencil version of the LSAT, select 鈥淟aw School Admission Test - Paper鈥 instead.)
  4. Agree to Prometric鈥檚 Personal Data Privacy Disclosure & Consent form.
  5. Enter your Eligibility Number and the first four characters of your last name. You can find your Eligibility Number on the  of .
  6. If you鈥檙e scheduling to take the LSAT in the online, remotely proctored environment, select your testing location time zone and preferred test date. If you鈥檙e scheduling to take the LSAT in person at a Prometric test center, enter your physical address and preferred test date. (If you have accommodations requiring a specific modality, you must schedule in that modality.)
  7. Select your desired appointment time, validate your demographics, and confirm your appointment.
  8. You will receive a confirmation email. Additionally, you can confirm the details of your testing appointment on the  of . (Please note: Your testing appointment may not appear in JD Services immediately.)
